Welcome to my artistic universe! I’m Lucas Lua, a Brazilian-born artist residing in Melbourne, Australia, specializing in tattooing and illustration. My creative journey, which began in my childhood, has flourished into a multifaceted career that combines my passions for the nature, the outer space, and art.
As a tattoo artist, I started my professional journey in 2014, evolving from creating designs for friends to establishing myself in the industry. My style is characterized by fine lines and ethereal elements, often inspired by the intersection of nature and technology. I strive to create tattoos that are not only visually striking but also deeply meaningful to my clients.
In addition to tattooing, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with renowned publishers such as "Hay House" to illustrate the Starcodes Astro Oracle card deck. This project, blending my interests in astrology and spirituality, offers a unique tool for self-discovery and guidance.The "Starcodes Astro Oracle"deck has been translated into multiple languages, including German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Italian. This expansion allows a broader audience to access the deck and explore the astrological insights it offers.
Additionally, the Oracle has been well-received internationally and is available through various retailers, including major bookshops and online platforms
I'm also partnering with "The Moon Et Tu", a Melbourne-based printing company, I create exclusive designs for their foil printing projects and stickers . The Moon Et Tu specializes in producing high-quality, shimmering prints using a variety of metallic foils.
I’m also proud to be a mentor at "Skink EAD", a leading Brazilian platform offering comprehensive online tattoo workshops. This role allows me to share my knowledge and passion with aspiring tattoo artists from around the world, covering everything from basic to advanced techniques.
My recent publication, "The Forest Of Glowing Mushrooms", marks my debut in the world of coloring books. This book invites readers to explore a magical world filled with bioluminescent flora, blending my love for nature and the fantastical.
